FSA bosses shared £2.6m earnings in 2010/11

The chairman and senior directors at the FSA shared more than £2.6m in salaries, bonuses and benefits in the year to 31 March, documents show.

The regulator's latest accounts show chief executive Hector Sants topped the pile with a £500,000 salary, boosted by £115,000 in performance related bonuses, £131,810 in other emoluments and benefits and a £60,000 payment into his pension. This brought his total earning up to £806,810, up from £773,067 in 2010, an increase of 4.36%. Meanwhile, chairman Adair Turner earned a salary of £426,000, with £22,076 in benefits and £52,200 in pension contributions, bringing his total to £500,276, up from £488,557.
