Skandia looks to crack rebate puzzle

Skandia has teamed up with technology provider Milestone Group to launch a rebates solution module designed to deliver improved accuracy and efficiency in the administration and delivery of rebates.

The implementation of the Rebate module, part of Milestone's pControl funds processing platform, is the first in a phased roll out of the solution which readies the platforms for any potential change in RDR rules governing rebate payments. This, the platforms says, allows it to maintain "business as usual" without the need to re-engineer its current processes. Last week, the FSA pushed back publication of its long-awaited platforms policy paper from Q2 to Q3.
