High Court orders six land banking companies to close

The High Court has ordered the closure of six land banking companies.

Stowford Place Investments, ASA Global Investments, Prinston Estates, Alpha Capital Investments, Greenacre Global Partners and Vinci Trading will face potential closure. The firms have been subject to enquiries by Company Investigators, part of the Insolvency Service. Petitions for the closure of each company will be heard on 29 June in the High Court. The Insolvency Service also disqualified three directors of land banking firm Land Strategy, which owed creditors £78,900 when it went into liquidation in July 2009.
