Liversidge appeals to 3,000 advisers to join AIFA

AIFA council member Neil Liversidge has sent out an appeal to 3,000 independent financial advisers (IFA) urging them to join the organisation and help make changes with within.

In a message sent to his personal mailing list, Liversidge, managing director of West Riding Personal Financial Solutions, addressed the recent criticisms of AIFA and insisted advisers could make a difference from within. "I am aware that many feel AIFA has been insufficiently robust on the RDR. "We could argue the rights and wrongs of AIFA's position forever but what really matters is the future and for regulation to work properly IFAs must have the best possible representation," he said.
