Complaints: How the life companies fared

Barclays was hit with more than 276,000 customer complaints in the second half of last year - or the equivalent of more than 1,500 per day. But how did the major insurance companies fare?

The FSA today published complaints data (aggregate and firm-specific) outlining the number of new and closed grievances dealt with by firms in H2 2010. It includes firms that report 500 or more complaints in a six-monthly reporting period. These firms have also been required to publish this data on their websites. The full list of firms, including % of closed complaints upheld, can be viewed HERE.
