A 35-year-old man has been found guilty of the murder of former St. James's Place investment adviser Geoff Kerr.
Kerr, who was employed by St James's Place Wealth Management in 2001 before becoming an appointed representative of the firm, was shot dead at his home in Templepatrick during an attempted robbery in April 2009. Darren Kernohan had admitted firing the fatal shot but claimed he had done so accidentally during a struggle with the victim, reports the BBC.
