Simmonds replaced as Bluefin CEO

Nick Burns, managing director of Bluefin Corporate Consulting, has been promoted to chief executive of Bluefin Advisory Services following a management shake-up.

Burns (pictured) replaces John Simmonds, who has become executive chairman of Bluefin's wealth management and corporate consultancy subsidiaries. Suvan de Soysa remains head of Bluefin Wealth Management. The shake-up at the Axa-owned business also sees Ian Brimecome replace Tim Trotter as non-executive chairman of Bluefin Advisory Services. Trotter has left the business to pursue other interests.
