Lyxor launches high yield and EM sovereign debt ETFs

Lyxor Asset Management has unveiled two ETFs providing exposure to European high yield bonds and emerging market sovereign debt, listed in the UK and France.

The firm says the funds address investor demand for yield amid a low interest rate environment, while offering liquid and transparent access to a market segment that is traditionally hard to tap. The funds synthetically replicate the Markit iBoxx Eur Liquid High Yield 30 and the Markit iBoxx USD Liquid Emerging Markets Sovereigns indices. The high yield index comprises euro-denominated, corporate sub-investment grade bonds, while the emerging market index consists of US dollar-denominated emerging market debt.
