Standard Life boosts regional tech help in RDR push

Standard Life has introduced five regional technology consultants to help IFAs make the most of online services through its Adviserzone platform in the run-up to RDR.

Located in the firm's regional business centres, the consultants will deliver training and support services to advisers, with face to face and remote support through newly-created technology rooms. Ross Dunlop, head of E-Business at Standard Life, says: "The challenge many advisers face when using multiple platforms is understanding and learning the functionality and benefit that the online services on these platforms can deliver.
