Chancellor George Osborne has been asked to produce the "body of evidence" supporters of the RDR claim justify the regulatory overhaul.
Harriett Baldwin MP, who has been leading calls for greater Parliamentary scrutiny of the RDR, has made an official request to the Chancellor for all the background information held in the Commons library on the rule change. The request marks an escalation in the pressure being put on the government to revisit certain aspects of the RDR, especially qualification requirements.
