Amundi ETF launch focuses on low TERs

Amundi ETF has unveiled two emerging market funds with lower total expense ratios (TERs) than their equivalents from other providers, the company claims.

The ETFs, listed on the NYSE Euronext, track the MSCI Emerging Markets index and Markit iBoxx USD Liquid Emerging Markets Sovereigns index. The TERs of 0.45% and 0.30% compare to an average of 0.69% and 0.48% respectively across similar competitor products, according to Amundi ETF. With latest BlackRock figures putting global new assets in emerging market equity ETFs alone at nearly $37bn so far this year, these economies have experienced higher growth than developed countries alongside increasingly strong fundamentals.
