Sants honoured for 'exceptional contribution' to industry

FSA chief executive Hector Sants has been awarded Honorary Fellowship of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), alongside BBA chief executive Angela Knight.

They join 43 other Honorary Fellows of CISI, all of whom are considered to have "contributed with distinction to financial services and the CISI". CISI Chairman Alan Yarrow said: "These are two very able people who have made an exceptional personal contribution to the City and our industry and we are very pleased that they have accepted Honorary Fellowship."
