Standard Life to acquire Focus Solutions for £42m

Standard Life has agreed a £42m takeover of software provider Focus Solutions.

The deal for Focus Solutions, which boasts Tenet Group and AWD Chase de Vere as major clients, is at a 33.3% premium to the tech provider's share price on 8 November, the last trading day prior to its announcement it was in takeover discussions. Standard Life says it will support the development of Focus' existing strategic roadmap and ensure continued investment of Focus' highly rated technology platform.
