MSCI expands micro cap index offering

MSCI has launched the Micro Cap and All Cap indices across developed markets and regions.

The Micro Cap indices add nearly 5,000 securities to the number covered by the MSCI Global Equity index range, including 1,318 from Japan and 964 from the US. The micro cap securities include those from companies with market capitalizations as low as $29.5m. The All Cap indices are an extension on the existing MSCI Investable Market indices, which include large, mid and small cap companies.
