Axa appoints Prudential man to offshore role

AXA Wealth International has appointed Prudential's Richard Leeson as sales and marketing director.

Leeson, who joins from Prudential International where he was head of UK investment development and head of offshore sales development, will lead the implementation of Axa Wealth International's sales and marketing strategy. Reporting directly to CEO Kevin Dean, he will also monitor the offshore environment and ensure the company remains a competitive proposition. Before his stint at Prudential, he spent eight years with Scottish Equitable and prior to that ten years with Clerical Medical.
