SL boosts adviser offering with PolicyPlus acquisition

SL Investment Management (SL), the traded endowment policy (TEP) and life settlement provider, has acquired former competitor PolicyPlus.

The acquisition, says SL, boosts its offering in the TEP market to IFAs and policy holders wishing to value and sell their endowments. As part of the purchase, SL also acquires the internet division of PolicyPlus International Freetrawl.com. The Freetrawl acquisition, says the company, will complement its existing investment in the TEP Exchange, providing bidding platforms for IFAs looking to sell policies on behalf of clients.
