FSA appoints Linda Woodall acting director of small firms

The FSA has appointed Linda Woodall as acting director of the small firms and contacts division.

Woodall currently heads up the regulator's savings and investments team and will shortly step up to her new role. She joined the FSA in 2001. She replaces Lesley Titcomb whose appointment to acting COO was announced yesterday. Titcomb replaces Mark Norris who has left to pursue new challenges.
