Dear All, I am writing to express my gratitude for all of the kind messages that I have received from so many of you following the death of my husband, Ian Thorneycroft , on the 16th May. I already knew that he was a wonderful father and grandad and the best husband that anyone could have wished for, but it's brought me a great deal of comfort over the past few weeks to hear about how fondly and highly he was also thought of by his colleagues and associates within the industry.
