Former UBS and Barclays man Peter Hall this week took over from John Spiers as Bestinvest chief executive.
Spiers (pictured), who quit in March, continues his 25-year association with the firm as joint chairman of its asset allocation committee and non-executive director and shareholder. Hall, who had been confirmed for the role since March, says: "As a client myself and previously as the managing director of competitor businesses at UBS and Barclays, I have always associated Bestinvest with the highest standards of professionalism and great value for money."
