Friends, peers and colleagues pay tribute to former IFA Promotions (IFAP) chief executive David Elms, who died on Tuesday.

Tom McPhail, head of pensions research at Hargreaves Lansdown: "I am so sad to hear about this. I was shocked when I heard he was unwell and this is just so sad. David was one of those characters who just made himself busy all the time because he cared so passionately about what he was doing.
