Asian investors boost global confidence levels

Global investor confidence is up on last month, according to research by State Street Global Markets.

The Investor Confidence Index for March 2010 is up 5.4 points to 180.0 from February's reading of 102.6, with impetus largely provided by Asian institutional investors. Elsewhere the changes were more muted with North American investor confidence only ticking up slightly to 110.4. In Europe, confidence fell slightly to 97.3 from February's 99.8.
