Ascentric hires business development chief for push North

Ascentric has appointed Julia Dobell as business development manager in the North as the wrap identifies growing demand for its proposition in the region.

Dobell has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry and was most recently an IFA consultant with US insurer The Hartford, having held similar roles with Friends Provident, Norwich Union and Legal & General. Ascentric sales and marketing director Richard Goodall say Dobell's appointment was made in view of its growing number of IFAs in the North. "She has a very strong track record in helping firms transition to new business models and is already proving to be a great asset for us," he says.
