Aviva moves to auto-underwriting for online annuity quotes

Standard and enhanced annuities will be merged in online quotes in a bid to speed up the selection route for adviser. Medical questions are also set to form part of a revamped online annuity underwriting service. Advisers can get quotes from online portals such as The Exchange, Assureweb and Webline which already include some medical questions on conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes.
