Schroder UK Equity manager Brazier departs

Simon Brazier, manager of the £553.5m Schroder UK Equity fund, is leaving the firm to take a senior position at another asset management company.

His role will be filled by Errol Francis and Ed Meier who will be co-managers on the fund as well as Brazier's Schroder International Selection Fund (ISF) UK Equity. Francis joined Schroders at the start of 2007 as a fund manager within the specialist UK equities team, working closely alongside Richard Buxton, head of UK equities. He has 16 years of investment experience, previously managing UK equities at Baring Asset Management and Credit Suisse Asset Management.
