PBR: Osborne questions where cuts will fall

Shadow Chancellor George Osborne has accused the Government of "sneaky fiddling" and "sleight of hand" in its Pre-Budget Report (PBR).

Osborne dismissed the government's proposals as a "pre-election report rather than a Pre-Budget Report" and said Chancellor Alistair Darling had failed to produce a credible recovery plan to reduce Britain's debt. He said the government had tried to conceal the true scale of the crisis and the PBR proved no-one should ever trust a Labour government with their money again.
