Rowlands quits AXA for annuity venture

Mark Rowlands has resigned as AXA head of consultant relations.

AXA spokesman Paul Riddell confirmed Rowlands will take up a position at a new impaired life annuity provider. He has worked at the life and pensions provider for six years, and was instrumental in taking AXA into the employee benefit consultant marketplace. He was strongly involved in refining the company's strategy in recent years, particularly through his involvement in the behavioural finance project introduced in 2007.
