Half of UK no faith in politicians for pensions

Almost half (44%) of British adults believe none of the parties vying for votes in the next general election will resolve current pensions issues, research suggests.

When forced to pick a party despite an overwhelming lack of faith in general, Britons place most confidence in the Tories (20%), with only 15% believing the incumbent Labour government is best placed to sort out Britain's pensions problems. The Liberal Democrats brought up the rear with 8% in the YouGov poll, commissioned by Beat the Pensions Crisis (www.thepensionscrisis.com), a book and free website which offers consumers help and pensions planning advice.
