Foster Denovo appoints Soper as compliance director

The national advisory group, Foster Denovo has appointed Scott Soper as compliance director.

He joins from the regulatory practice at Grant Thornton, where for six years he led regulatory work for distributors, life assurers, banks, fund managers and networks. While at the firm, he was seconded to the FSA where he worked in the retail policy team. During the 1990's Soper also spent time as a practising IFA. In addition to his compliance and regulatory function, Soper will have special responsibility for developing a framework for the implementation of the retail distribution review.
