Standard Life has appointed deputy group finance director, Jackie Hunt, as interim chief financial officer.
She will take over the position on 9 November 2009 until a new chief financial officer is confirmed Hunt, who takes over the duties of CFO but will not sit on the company board, replaces David Nish who will become group chief executive from 1 January 2010. A recent addition to Standard Life, Hunt joined in January having previously held the post of CFO responsible for leading financial management and control functions, performance management and strategy development at Norwich Union Insurance, Aviva's general insurance business.
