Cofunds hire to support advisers through RDR

Cofunds has appointed Paul Rose as head of regional account managers to help the platform work more closely with advisers in the run up to the RDR.

Rose, formerly Zurich Financial Services sales manager, starts his role on December 1. In addition to helping advisers adapt their business models to comply with RDR requirements, he will support the platform's business development, including pension consolidation opportunities. Cofunds head of sales Nick Godfrey says: "Paul was picked for the role because of his highly developed relationship building and management skills, qualities which at Cofunds, will now be able to flourish unfettered by life office legacy issues."
