Elms steps down as IFAP chief after cancer diagnosis

David Elms is stepping down as chief executive of IFA Promotion after being diagnosed with cancer.

Under his decade-long leadership, the company has worked tirelessly to promote the benefits and accessibility of independent financial advice through unbiased.co.uk He founded its online ‘Find an IFA' search tool and oversaw the recent launch of a professional networking service for advisers.
