1st Software founders take £250,000 stake in white-label firm

The founders of financial planning software firm 1st Software have invested £250,000 in Sammedia in return for a minority stake in the company.

Rory Curran and Mik Cons will also sit on the board as non-executive directors of Sammedia, which builds white-label websites for IFAs and brokers. Sammedia's IFA-Netsite service is used by four of the major IFA networks: The Exchange, Sesame, Tenet and Burns Anderson. The firm says the back-office system allows the large service companies to tackle their compliance requirements much quicker than others on the market.
