Zurich Financial Service Group has promoted Alan Fairhead to the position of chief underwriting officer for Europe General Insurance, effective 1 September. He is currently chief underwriting officer for Global Corporate and will retain his role for Zurich Insurance. Fairhead was formerly managing director of Global Corporate UK.
