threesixty may launch new model portfolios as OEICs

IFA support services provider threesixty is teaming up with Old Broad Street Research (OBSR) and multi-manager house Margetts to provide two new ranges of model portfolios to boost advisers' asset allocation options.

The ranges, one constructed by OBSR, the other by Margetts, have been designed to match five attitude-to-risk profiles: defensive, cautious, balanced, moderately adventurous and adventurous. It builds on the asset allocation tool created and launched by threesixty, in partnership with actuary AKG, in November 2007. The portfolios provide the percentage breakdowns for asset classes as well as recommendations for the underlying funds covering a variety of holdings and styles.
