IFAs are demanding help to access Exchange Traded Funds(ETFs)and more education about the vehicles as they expect their usage of the products to rise in the coming year.
A new poll from iShares and Ascentric found 94% of IFAs surveyed at roadshows in Bath, Warrington and London, expected to increase their ETF exposure although only 38% are currently using the vehicles. The main reasons cited for not using these funds at present were lack of knowledge, with 62% stating this as a factor. A further 13% said ETFs are currently difficult to access.
