FPI improves online portfolio planning tool

Friends Provident International (FPI) has enhanced its online tool for offshore advisers, designed to ease fund selection.

The new Portfolio Forensics Report (PFR) has been launched to add functionality to the fund selection process and incorporates the Dynamic Portfolio Planner International (DPPi) tool. DPPi takes a top-down asset allocation perspective when devising the most suitable investment strategy for investors. While it is widely accepted asset allocation is the key driver for portfolio variance and returns, selecting the best funds can also boost portfolio performance, says FPI.
