Cowley takes reins on Omam Dynamic and Global Bond funds

Stewart Cowley has been appointed as manager of the Old Mutual Global Strategic Bond and Old Mutual Dynamic Bond funds.

Cowley joined Old Mutual Asset Managers earlier this month and there had been speculation a fund may be launched for him. It is understood the change will see Richard Stevens, current manager of Global Strategic Bond, become part of Cowley's team, although this has not been confirmed. There has not yet been any confirmation on where Chris Palmer, manager of Dynamic Bond, will fit into the team. Cowley joined from Newton Investment Management where he was head of fixed income and manager of the UK authorised Newton International Bond and Dublin-based Mellon Global Bond. Global Strateg...
