James Hughes has been appointed portfolio manager for AXA Multimanager, responsible for researching and selecting managers of UK Equities, UK Fixed Income and European Equities funds.
Reporting to Philippe d’Orgeval, chief investment officer of the subsidiary to AXA Investment Managers, Hughes will also be responsible for portfolio construction, cash management and asset allocations strategy implementation. Hughes joins from Christows, where he was head of fund research. IFAonline
