Merchant Investors offers IFA own-brand Oeic solution

Merchant Investors has launched Zest Solutions, an insurance fund support package that enables advisers to run and eventually own their own-brand fund of funds Oeic.

Zest Solutions offers a selection of risk-profiled fund-of-funds exclusive to the adviser firm and its clients, as insured funds. Once these funds reach critical mass - estimated at around £20m and achievable, the company says, within a year - they can be converted to an Oeic. Merchant Investors' head of sales and marketing Richard Ellis says Zest Solutions has the potential to increase the value of adviser businesses by £millions through direct ownership of funds under management.
