Harry Nimmo's UK Smaller Companies fund at Standard Life Investments has returned 55.85% over five years to 21 May 2009, according to Lipper. Nimmo insists his success is about sticking to a methodology that has remained unchanged since he started managing the fund (from launch) in 1997. "I have a methodology that I adhere to regardless of the economic conditions - the process is quality orientated.
