David Jacob has been appointed as chief investment officer and managing director of Listed Assets at Henderson Global Investors.
Jacob is currently head of fixed income as well as co-managing director of Henderson's Listed Assets business with Andrew Formica. In his new role, Jacob will oversee all of Henderson's £22.5bn equity and £19.9bn fixed income teams, as well as the distribution and support functions for these areas. To support Jacob in his role, Bill McQuaker, currently head of multi-manager funds, has been promoted to head of equities, reporting to Jacob.
