Old Mutual's Klahr sets retirement date

Leonard Klahr, manager of Old Mutual's Extra Income fund, is to retire in March 2009.

Michael Gifford, manager of the Equity Income fund and deputy manager of the Extra Income fund since 2006, will become joint manager of the fund at the end of this month, before assuming sole responsibility in January 2009. Gifford will continue to manage the Equity Income fund. There will be no change in the objective, risk profile or broad investment approach of the Extra Income fund and the fixed interest element will continue to be managed by Stephen Snowden, manager of the OM Corporate Bond fund.
