THE first anniversary of the Barclays Capital Asian Real Estate Income fund (AREIF) sees the fund celebrating annual returns of 15.3pc, with assets under management standing at £40m.
The AREIF is targeted at fund and private client managers and attributes its popularity to being one of the few funds offering exposure to a diverse range of Asian Real Estate Investment Trusts. The AREIF stockpicks from the three main Asian Property indices: Bloomberg Asia Pacific Real Estate Index, S&P/ASX 300 Property Trust Index and Bloomberg Pacific Real Estate Trust Index.
