UK Commercial property worth it

M&G fund manager John Cartwright has forecast that prime commercial property in the UK will continue to provide positive returns in an uncertain property environment.

Commenting on the state of the UK property market, Cartwright said that in recent times the sector has delivered strong returns, driven by yield compression. He added this meant that yields on lower quality sub-prime assets have begun to align themselves with those that can be obtained in prime markets. Cartwright said: “Investors remain positive about the UK property market in the short term.
