Name change for Fidelity Managed International fund

Fidelity plans to changes the name of its Managed International fund to Global Focus to more accurately reflect the manager's approach to investment.

Performance of the fund has recovered significantly since Brenda Reed took over the portfolio nearly five years ago. Under Reed's stewardship the fund has beaten the market by more than 9pc points over the past 12 months. Returns from the fund over this period are -0.64pc against a near 10pc fall in the MSCI World index. The fund is now first quartile over one and two years and tops the second quartile over three and five years.
