Asian property equities 'on the up'

THE fundamentals for Asian property equities remain robust, according to Chris Reilly, manager of the Henderson Horizon Asia-Pacific Property Equities fund.

Underpinned by broad-based investor interest, and despite the volatility seen in June and July, the asset class has performed well so far this year, he says. He added: “We think that the recent weakness in certain Asian property sectors is welcome, as some valuations had become stretched.
