AIFA has appointed Ivan Martin, executive chairman of Sesame, as deputy chairman of its council with immediate effect.
Martin will serve alongside Amanda Davidson after it was decided to appoint a second deputy chairperson. Both Martin and Davidson will support AIFA's independent chairman The Rt. Hon John Gummer MP. Gummer said: "The AIFA Council recently undertook a Corporate Governance Review to ensure that it was providing the best service to its members. As part of that review, it was identified that AIFA should establish a second deputy chairman role."
