WINTERTHUR has enjoyed sharp growth in new individual pensions business in the six months to the end of June, second quarter business results from the wealth management arm reveal.
In the UK pensions segment, single premium personal pensions were up 132pc to £568m, income withdrawal was up 215pc to £286m, and annual premium personal pensions were up 51pc to £7.5m. Meanwhile, in the UK investments sector, new investment bond business grew 13pc to £58m.
