Tillinghast demands better pensions advice

TOWERS Perrin Tillinghast, the global professional services firm, has called on the life and pensions industry to create an upgraded advice offering for consumers before the launch of Personal Accounts in 2012.

Consumers, especially higher earners, need to look beyond the Government’s Personal Accounts scheme, and the life and pensions industry needs to ensure it is able to offer them a compelling and distinct alternative, Tillinghast said.
