Elite passes Growth Trust to Charteris

Elite, the third party administration arm of WAY Fund Managers has handed over the EFA James Brearley Premium Growth Trust to Charteris Treasury Portfolio Managers.

The handover took place on 1 November 2008, and the unit trust will now be known as the Elite Charteris Premium Growth fund. Ian Williams, Charteris CEO and chairman, said: "We deploy a covered call strategy, and the (Exeter and London-based) Charteris investment team has as good a track record as anyone in the UK at running this type of covered option strategy," he said. David Pook, managing director, WAY Fund Managers, said he looked forward to working alongside the new team. "In these difficult times we are confident that we have a very safe pair of hands in Ian Williams," he said...
